    Tubac Golf Resort is approximately 30 minutes south of Tucson. From Phoenix, take 1-10 east through Tucson and head south on 1-19 to Exit 40 (Chavez Siding). Follow the signs and turn left at the resort Arch.

The AIA A201-2007 General Conditions are scheduled for release in October 2007. The AIA documents, which are revised every ten years, have a major impact on ABA members because they are the most commonly used form contracts in the industry.

Attorney Mike Holden will review some of the significant changes to the A201-2007 General Conditions, including:

  • Claims procedure
  • Architect's duties and responsibilities
  • Insurance requirements
  • Arbitration versus litigation of disputes
  • Contractual statute of repose

The jewel of Tubac Golf Resort is its mature, championship, Red Lawrence designed Golf Course; well kept and challenging for all levels. Scramble format ensures fun for all. CORONA HORSEBACK RIDE - 9:00AM, Age 8 & above
Enjoy the beauty of So. AZ with a one & one half hour horseback ride through the heart of the real West. Meet just outside the lobby - look for the wranglers and horses.


ANZA TRAIL HIKE - 9:30AM
Take a non-strenuous, two hour hike along the historic Anza Trail which commemorates the route followed by Juan Bautista De Anza in 1775 when he led a contingent of 30 soldiers and their families to found a presidio on the San Francisco Bay. Meet in the lobby with hike leader ABA executive director Mark Minter.

 

PICNIC LUNCH (EL SACO) 12:15PM
Picnic box lunches for all on the lush lawn. Enjoy cottonwoods, mesquites, water, wildlife and spectacular mountain views while picnicking with other ABA members, spouses, and families.

FIESTA DINNER PARTY - OLE'  Time for ABA amigos to party - mucho! Nino's (kids) also welcome.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES - ON OWN:
Tumacacori Mission - Just minutes south of the resort, travel back in time as you walk through this landmark that represents the original settlement of the Arizona territory beginning with the arrival of Father Kino in 1691.

TUBAC VILLAGE ARTIST COLONY - Less than a mile from the resort, shoppers will find exclusive boutiques, galleries and working artist studios in over 100 shops featuring unique art, history and native crafts.

TUBAC PRESIDIO STATE PARK - Visit AZ's first State Park and enjoy the grounds of AZ's oldest European community. Tour the underground exhibit of the Presidio ruins, the museum, and visit the furnished 1885 schoolhouse.

BIKING - Bicycles and helmets are available at the Guest Services desk at a rate of $10 per day. First come, first served basis.

HEATED SWIMMING POOL - Pool temperatures are kept at a comfortable 80 degrees throughout the year. Enjoy!
